Before ET, when did you start using estrogen support?

HI guys,

quick question here, I am 15 days before embie transfer, I am already in estrogen support everyday, and I know every protocol is different but I am just curios at how many days before embrio transfer you started your estrogen patches or estrace pills, just wondering

When I was a Gestational Surrogate, I was on Estrace for a month before the transfer.

They need to make sure that they give your body enough time to build up a nice lining & to get your levels up where they want them to be. They can always decrease your meds if they need to!

Little Miracle~ Ahhh so I guess the cyst is gone??? thats good. On my protocol, I start Estrace on April 2nd and the transfer will be April 18th so, 17 days of estrace before my Transfer.

Hi Two Sox,

It is nice to hear from you and that everything is going great! what about your trip to hawaii?

Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best for us and all the ladies cycling, maybe because spring is coming we will have a new start in our lives.

I am 1 pill of estrace a day, for 16 days, what about you?
my lining was 7.00 this tuesday. We are hoping to have our transfer aprox the first days of April.

I start my Estrace April 2nd, and will be in Hawaii April 5th -13th , then to L.A for transfer April 18th, then back home to FL the next day.
I am excited for you and me!!!! WOW your lining is getting thick fast! That is great!

I can't believe everything work out great for you regarding your trip, so right now you are in Lupron, I guess?

yes, my lining is getting there, however, been very honest with you, this time I do not want to get really excited because this is my 4th IVF (1st with donor) and each time that the results are negative, I get very sad, so this time I want to avoid to get very excited and take the things with calm, although I still have my hopes and wish to get pregnant this time.

How many tries do you have?

this is my 3rd...first, i didnt respond to meds, 2nd conceived with my eggs at 42 MC at 9 weeks and now I am doing my 1st DE with frozen donor eggs.
This is always both exciting and scary. This is our last attempt due to the expense. In Florida, infertility is rarely covered so everything is out of pocket....we have spent well over 50K alltogether. I pray everyday that we are blessed with a miracle.

Two Sox, looks like you also has been a lot!, for us this is also our last attemp because of $ reasons. and I am the same age you are.
