mommywanttobe,

I just want to tell you that you are the luckiest lady in the world, keep us posted how the things are going with you all the way. At what time is your embie transfer?

Would you like to share with us your protocol? how many days were you in lupron and how did you Synchronize with donor?

my deal

OK--I do feel like the luckiest person alive. I was told DE was my only alternative a couple of weeks ago and that there would be close to a year wait. All of a sudden I was called last week and told that another couple backed out and did I want to be considered for their current donor. The donor was ready to have retrieval in a couple of days. And it would be 1/2 price since the doctor was requiring the couple who backed out to pay the other 1/2. What a whirlwind! I have only been on estrace and progesterine shots and its been super quick! My embie transfer will be at 10:30 on Friday. Hoping since its St. Patricks day--the luck of the irish (both myself and the donor) will prevail.

mommywanttobe,

Yes, there is no question, you are super lucky lucky.

Your protocol and mine is almost identical!!!Can I ask you a "technical" question?

I am asuming you did not had to go with the "famous" Lupron, so in what day of your period were you when you got the good news to be ready for a embie transfer and when did you start taking estarce and progesterone?

How does your RE is going to synchronize you with the donor?

sorry so many questions

cycle

I did not have to take Lupron --which is probably a good thing since I heard that it is pretty potent. I have had no period since August so I have been taking estrace for about 3 months for Hormone Replacement Therapy since I am 34 and am post-menopausal. I just started the progesterone this past Tuesday (14th) and will continue for a while. How about you?

Momywanttobe,

Me, ha...waiting to get rid of a huge cyst, so only IF I am lucky will be one month of waiting....argh!!!

I jsut wish to be is your shoes and getting ready to receive my embies

My protocol, is the typical with the ugly Lupron and then build my lining with estrace and progesterone, right now I am 20 days ahead of waiting for my period
