I don't know the answer for you, but send hugs your way anyway. If your RE is saying go ahead, that's what I would do.

twosox,

I wouldn't be worry at all, it is just that simply your period came before, that is the reason manu RE prefer to put recipients and donors in Birth pills, to get everybody on line.

Are your cycles regular or irregular?

I do not believe your cycle is a bust, the main thing is to supress your ovulation, so when you are receiving the embryo you are not ovulating at the same time.

Did he sent you to have an ultrasound on day 3 and did he recommended for you to have blood work done, i.e. estradiol, progesterone and LH?

My cycles were regular up till last month. I went today for a 2 day E2, FSH and Progesterone also a lining check US. Mu nurse called and asked if I am still bleeding and I told her yes...she is asking the doc and will call me back...I would LOVE if he told me to start my estrogen and bump up my ET to sooner!

Twosox,

Of what I know (I do not want to confuse you), first you start with Lupron on day 21 and a little bit before embryo transfer will be your estrace and obviously progesterone.

Will be interesting to find out your levels, because these will confirm that this is your period and olso if you have a high level of something, why.

Good luck and keep us posted

I remember my RE telling me that I may or may not get af at that stage so I don't think it's a big deal. I would call your re and ask?

My RE said to continue the Lupron and call when I get my Lupron menses. UGHH! I am cd#3 with a full blown AF! I hope I dont have to take Lupron for another month till AF comes again, I will be a raving lunatic by then.

Two Sox,

Of what I understand you started your lupron at the same time you started your menses because your menses came 7 days before, if thats the case is more likely you will go all the month with Lupron, if i'll be you I'll talk to my RE as 50/50 suggested.

Maybe you can ask him if you can start cycle day 21 of this period?
