Trying to decide on IUI#2 (same as IUIbb)

Well AF came with a vengance. I am having unreal cramps mainly in my back so I woulld say IUI#1 didn't work. Now I'm back on cd1 and need to decide quickly if I'm trying IUI#2. Some of you suggested according to my prog# that maybe only one egg was released. This has me thinking what if this is true. What if the egg was released from my left, which my left tube is mangled. Each month you should alternate, right? So if i ovulated left last month than I should o from the right side, correct? Maybe I'm fooling myself considering last night I was completely through with IUI. But now I'm considering one more try and then on to IVF. So I might stick around one more month to drive all of you crazy with questions. I'll let you know what we decide. Still have to talk to DH tonight about this. I'm also considering doing it at home again. I think that part went really well and way cheeper, I only have to pay for the samples. Oh well
Thanks for listening
Bren

We actually ICI. My doc was out of town when I surged so we didn't have much choice. DH actually used a speculum and inserted the catheter into my cervix. He did really good I was very suprised, it only hurt when he pinched me with the speculum.

I know there is a kit you can buy online so you can do your own inseminations at home. LOL

Are you using clomid or injections? I would go with that, have an ultrasound midcycle adn then you know exactly if you are ovulating on the correct side. Add the hcg shot for improved timing. good luck.
