genie- how'd your u/s to check lining go yesterday?

I was just looking for an update from you so I can update your info on the chart & the last I saw, you were supposed to have an u/s yesterday (I think that's the date you said?) to check your lining? How's it looking!? Also, you were supposed to find out how your donor was doing yesterday- have you heard anything??

Give me some new info, like possible dates for retrieval & tranfser & I'll update you on our chart!!!

Thanks for checking in with me!

I just returned from my RE's office. He's so great - he wanted to do the u/s himself to make sure everything was perfect. My lining is 9.3 and my E2 is well over 200 (his target)

He didn't have the donor's chart on him but he remembers her E2 on Wed was 575 (or therabouts) so I'm hoping that's good. She went in for an u/s with one of the techs in their main office this morning (RE was in a satelite closer to my home) which is why he didn't know exactly what her numbers are. She goes back tomorrow for another u/s, E2. ER could be Monday or Tuesday. We'll know more tomorrow.

While in the waiting room I read an article about sperm and how it should be ejaculated every other day to ensure new, good ones. My poor DH has had a cold for over a week and no libido, thus those little guys have stayed put. I immediately called him and said, sick or not, you've got to take care of business tonight to make sure we've got fresh ones for Mon or Tues! I need something to worry about!

Thanks again!

Great update genie!! It sounds like things are definitely moving right along for you! I hope you get great news today!! As for DH's little guys, yes, he should be moving them on out & making sure that the older ones are outta there before he needs to give some good ones up for the retrieval! They usually say that they should ejaculate within 2 days of giving their donation for fertilization.

Hopefully he's feeling better soon!!
