Hey there! Lupron was always the worst of the meds, for me. It pretty much is a "mock" menopause & reduces your estrogen to very low levels. I had hot flashes, terrible mood swings, headaches etc. It all seemed to go away after I started my stims. Good luck to you. It's important to note that not everyone has the same symptoms.

BC-Crissy,
Agree with you, although this medice affects different to everybody, unfortunatelly to me, it is the worst, I have hot flashes, mood swings, headaches, sleepy and I feel like an old old lady, there is nothing else to do but to keep with it with a positive attitude and hope for a good ending. I read you will have your protocol this february/ March, like me. Congratulations, hopefully we will be soon.little miracle Last edited by little miracle; 02-11-2006 at 02:30 PM. |

I increased my water intake which seems to help with the Lupron side effects. I'm also doing more yoga, I don't know if it's just a placebo effect but I feel a lot better this cycle on Lupron than my previous cycle.
Good luck, Little Miracle!!

Genie,
Yes, you are right, the more water we take the better, I read this a long time ago in the internet. By the way, how many days are you already with Lupron? I am only in my 5th, I know I have a long way to go... I read also in the internet that that people taking Lupron for 6 months (different treatments) the calcium in the body may be compromise, so I think that taking calcium may help (?) Little miracle |

I got hot flashes and headaches. I also go back pain and mood swings. It got better the longer I was on it and my body adjusted. I didnt worry about calcium but I was only on lupron a few weeks. I was taking PNV and hoped it was adequate. Lots of water and gatorade.
