Feeling really sad...

Well, thought I'd let you all know we got a BFN today! It was a torcherous day...we were told we'd be called by 12:30 pm and when no call came by 1:05 DH called and we were told the RN would call us in another 10-15 mins. She called and delivered the sad news and told me my RE would call me later today/tonight.

The tears are pouring and when they dry, it is utter shock and anger! We have no embryos frozen so I suppose we'll have to let this sink in and explore our options.....talk to you all soon. Deeja

Oh Deeja, I am so sorry. My eyes are filled with tears and my heart aches. I'm at a loss for words because I know there is really nothing I can say to ease your pain. Know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. Let us know if there's anything we can do for you.

((((HUGS))))

I'm so sorry that you received that news. Those calls are the worst. Do something nice for yourself.

Deeja - I am so terribly disappointed for you. I was so hoping that you would get a BFP. Everything seemed to be going so well. :-( I can well imagine the upset and disappointment you are going through now. Please keep us posted on what your future plans are. There are so many unknown variables in these processes that we have no control over. I wish for your sake that things would have turned out differently.

My thoughts are with you. Mega

Hi and thanks for all of the kind words! It has been trying to say the least. I cried so hard and so much yesterday that I ruptured a vessel while blowing my nose and now I have an ear infection--oh joy! My RE did end up calling and leaving us a message. We will speak live today hopefully. He did say that the only thing he can think of that was questionable was our "unproven" donor's egg quality issues...because the fertilization rate was markedly low...remember 24 mature eggs=4 embryos=2 blasts at transfer. So, from day one of fert, he said there may be something funky with her eggs...now he has to tell that poor girl! He did say that he thought if we had a different donor, we would have a different outcome. I'll probe him more later...maybe he means a "proven" donor.....now, DH and I just need to figure out how to finance an additional try. We are up to our you know what's in debt.....

I'll fill you in more later---so many thoughts racing thru the brain...I'm tired!
