Question Egg donors, how long did you wait?

Hello. I was just wondering how long the average is for egg donors to wait before they are matched with IP? Thanks for your reply.

I'm assuming that you are going with a clinic? I'd say each clinic has a different average time. I guess I'm not sure the basis for your question....

If you just signed up yesterday, I'd say don't get impatient for at least 3 to 6 months.

If you've been sitting around waiting for 6 months with no contact, you might want to ask the clinic what is going on.

BTW, I've gone to two different clinics in Cincy. Are you going there or is it another clinic?

I have signed up with a few clinics. I don't think any are in Cini. I would appriciate the websites for the ones in cini if you have them. I have been waiting for a little over three months, and I haven't heard anyhting from any of the clinics about IP being interested. I was just curious if I was being impatient or if this was the normal for clinics to have that long of a wait. I see so many IP out there looking for donors, so I figured it would be a quick process. Thanks for responding.

http://www.bethesdafertility.com/content/ Ann Bertsche is the donor coordinator there. A bit scatterbrained, but very compassionate and very nice. This clinic was smaller than the next one I've listed, but the stats avail at the CDC website for both clinics were very similiar the years we went there.

http://www.cincinnatifertility.com/P...ng_soon_21.htm (my info is about 5 yrs old on this clinic, so things might well have changed). This clinic is EXCELLENT at providing information about the entire process. We did not care for their donor coordinator at the time so we changed clinics.

Both clinics use the same psychologist.

If you want any further info, I'll be glad to provide it.

FWIW, my dd is a result of donor egg and my twins are a result of donor embies.

Bless your heart for doing this...
