lupron question

Due to scheduling issues, I didn't do BCPs before starting Lupron. They had me strart the Lupron on cd25. I requested a beta test just to make sure I wasn't pg. They said it was neg and to start Lupron. I was supposed to get AF on Saturday, cd28, I'm very regular. Today is cd30 and still nothing.

Can it be that the Lupron is holding her at bay? I'm going to call my RE's office today and ask them but I'm still worried, since the last time I was two days late I was pg.

Thanks for any input.

I was told that Lupron could do that...but I would call your RE to ease your mind. It's always comforting to hear it from a medical person.

My situation was very similar I was not put on BCP and went on Lupron on cycle day 27. I did not get my period for another 2 weeks. I was paniced but the clinic told me it is very normal that lupron delay periods. Hope you get visited soon.

Thank you

for your replies.

50/50, first, congratulations to you on your pregnancy! I hope to be in your shoes soon! I asked my RE nurse and she confirmed Lupron could affect AF's arrival.

Wishing - that's exactly what happened. Today AF showed up, a week late. It's amazing how most months I'm totally depressed to see her and this month I couldn't wait for her to get here!

Our donor, God bless her, starts stims on Sep 17. I am sooo excited, nervous, and READY!

Thanks again!
