Pls help explain betas??

Hoping some of you can share some insight. My 1st Beta was 113; today, 2nd beta 715! thought it was just supposed to double?

Also, can't figure out what my dpo is? Had my transfer Aug 3, 5 day blast. How do I figure this out. How to I calculate due date?

Do you think these numbers indicate twins w/ the
high jump?

appreciate your input.

Congrats on a very nice rise!

My 2nd beta went up almost 4x and my 3rd beta almost 5x and I am only having a singleton. Although, yours really made quite a jump...one can only guess at this point. You won't know for sure until your first u/s. But I do hope you might be warming up to having twins.

Ovulation is the day your donor had r/t.

Today would be 12dp5dt, so 17 days past conception. Your beta is nice and strong but doesn't necessarily indicate multiples. Mine was 437 at 17dpo with my first daughter and 1450 at 18dpo with my second daughter. It was 1491 at 18dpo when I was pregnant with triplets. So you just never know! Congratulations on at least one strong little bugger !

Ditto to what the others have said. With my last cycle, my 2nd & 3rd beta's almost quadrupled instead of doubling. You have to remember also that when doing a 5dt, the numbers tend to be a bit higher because the embryo's are more mature & implant sooner, giving off hcg sooner, which gives a higher number than someone testing on the same day using 3 day embryo's. Make sense?

The truth of the matter is that you simply can't tell how many are in there based on numbers, or even how quickly they rise. My 1st pregnancy started with twins & we lost one of them at 8w. My 2nd pregnancy started with only 1 baby, yet as I said, my numbers almost quadrupled & were only a few points off from my cycle that we knew started as twins! If we were comparing numbers for my 2nd to my 1st, we would've surely thought we were having twins again.

Good luck!! The waiting is hard, but hang in there!!!

BTW, your due date is approximately April 23rd. (I used my delivery wheel from when I worked in an OB office)

Karen
