Thank God for DE...birth mentd.
Ladies,
Our long journey is finally over. We have a beautiful son. I had so many worries about using DE and feeling connected and what our child would look like, etc. Some of our family knows and some don't, and there's no difference in their reaction to him. I'm just so glad that DE was an option for us. Good Luck to all of you, I hope you can experience this yourself! L&D story... http://www3.fertilethoughts.com/foru...d.php?t=345044 Kim

Congratulations Kim!!!!!
I'm glad that even though things did not go as planned, everything worked out and now you finally have that sweet baby boy in your arms!! I feel like our IF backgrounds are somewhat similar and it truly warms my heart that your story includes such a wonderful ending. WOW, after everything you've been through I can't imagine what it feels like to finally realize your most precious dream of becoming a parent. Kim, I wish you and your family the very best. Enjoy every second together...you been through a lot to get to this point and you deserve this happiness!!! OMG Kim - I'm so happy for you, dh and your beautiful son Luke. He's one big healthy baby boy at that weight and so early. Sorry to hear you had an emergency c-section but I'm sure you completely forgot about that as soon as you set your eyes on him. LOVE the pics .. thanks for sharing them.
So I'm curious, did you manage to go the entire pg without finding out it was a boy? If so - had you suspected a boy? Jumping up & down with joy for you. Congrats again on your son!

Congratulations!! Your story helped ease my mind and heart. This is my last natural cycle before BCPs and DE cycle in October. I have been mourning the fact that our child will not have my biology. Reading your post reminded me of what it's really all about. I want to hold a healthy baby and start my family.
Thank you and God bless you.
