Everyone sit down - baby mentioned

Ok, you will all never ever ever believe this!

My test was neg.....so the transfer did not work..

On Sunday evening a nurse (my neighbor) called me from our local
hospital....she is a nurse in the nursery there.....and asked me if we
would be interested in adoption....and I said of course! Well, it is a long
story and I don't have much time....we have a baby girl.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We adopted her on Tuesday....she was born on Sunday!

Her name is Ashley Elizabeth and she is the most beautiful little angel I have ever seen in my entire life.

Thanks for all of your support through this...now we just have to go thru the adoption "waiting period" and we should be on our way to raising our little angel.

Gayle

Gayle - This is absolutely awesome news!

A friend of mine whom I met through our Resolve group had a very similiar situation. Her neighbor is a nurse in the pediatric section of the hospital. She had a patient who wanted to give her daughter up for an adoption, but hadn't yet spoken to anyone. The nurse contacted my friend, my friend naturally said "yes" and she is now the proud mama of a beautiful little girl (she's 3mos. now). Miracles do happen!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best wishes.

what a BEAUTIFUL story. I didn't know this even happened any more! Is that providential or what?! Wishing you fortitude and smooth sailing through the waiting period.
