Portland Center for Reproductive Medicine

I am currently 29 weeks pregnant with a baby boy from our DE cycle at PCRM in Portland, Oregon. We saw Dr. Hesla. They have incredible stats (over 80 % for De), great embryologists, a state of the art lab, and excellent donors to choose from.

Hi -

I would recommend PCRM in Portland, Oregon and CCRM in Denver, Colorado. Both are very good clinics, but I think CCRM may be more expensive.

Tigger,

Thanks, a lot for your answer.

Regarding the site of the agency you gave me I love it due to the fact I can see the donor and match them with me, now I need to have dh on board.

Maybe I am asking a lot but...how much was your cost including everything?

Once again thanks

Stefani,

Thanks a lot for your answer, if you have their website, I would appreciate a lot!

We have used them TWICE! I like that you get very detailed medical history, family history, educational and occupational background, and pictures of when they were a baby, teen, adult, and pictures of kids if they have them.

To Little Miracle

I believe a donor egg cycle would run you around 25 thousand at PCRM right now. Give them a call and ask them to send you current info. on the costs. My meds were covered by insurance, so that saved us some. They have comparable success rates to CCRM and in fact Dr. Hesla used to work with Dr. Schoolcraft at CCRM before starting PCRM. But, I believe CCRM is more expensive.
The Exceptional Donors agency is run by a lady who is a donor egg recipient mom herself and they very carefully prescreen their donors. You also get a LOT of info. and pictures to look at. They give you a 15 page profile filled out by the donor. If a donation doesn't result in a pregnancy, I think they won't use that donor again.

BC-MAV,
sorry so many questions but you mentioned you use them twice, both time were succesful, is your clinic in Maryland or California?

Tigger,
once again thanks for your info.

Syefani,
Thank for the website

Guys, in my case I will require an DE and a SD, do you think that will be an issue?

Tigger,

I forgot to ask you, does the clinic in portlandivf.net is part of exceptional donor pictures or are these separate organizations working together?

I don't think it's an issue using DE and DS, just that it will cost a little more. As far as eggdonor.com, their donors are from all over the world (mostly USA) so you don't have to be in California or Maryland to use them. Keep in mind that you will save a lot of money if you choose a donor that is local to your clinic. If you go to PCRM, you might want to look at Exceptional Donors and Creating New Generations.

Good Luck,
Stefani
