What is it? Is it like clomid? I am out of the loop when it comes to new drugs!

Like Clomid, it's for ovulation induction, but it's not supposed to thin the lining like Clomid can. It costs a less, too, since it's primarily for breast cancer treatment, not officially an infertility drug yet. I took it while on the DE wait list, figured I'd do some IUIs in the meantime. I made two mature follicles both times - I'm not a great responder! It also goes by the name Letrozole.
Good luck with your cycle!

femara

My RE put me on femara after he did a biopsy to determine whether my uterine lining had a needed protien (integrin). I take it during my cycles b/c I did not have the protien. It is supposed to help with the implantation process. I also take injectbables with the femara...hope this helps.
