Back on Track

Hi all.....I think I have finally gotten my self back on track from the bfn.....AF after a cycle is terrible!
My FET will be 07/27/05 - so back on getting myself regular and trying to learn from what happened the last time....actually, the transfer went poorly as I have a tilted uterus and the doctor got it all messed up trying to insert the cathetar (sp?) and had to get another one and it made me tense up so badly that I did not feel good about the whole thing....they are going to do another mock transfer this Friday to see how this could have happened and they will also "sedate" me on the actual procedure....the doc assured me that this would hurt the chances what so ever...so I am going to let them so I don't tense so much this time.
Ok, my book is over....will go and check in on all now.
Gayle

Good to hear you are back on track! Good luck to you on your FET...and your mock transfer. I was given valium once for one of my transfers...it does help to relax you. I hope this is the one for you!

Gayle-I was happy to see your post and see that a plan is in place. I think the sedation will help and that way you can be sure that you don't tense up and your RE can get it right! GL...7/27...right around the corner!

Gayle,

I think the mock transfer and the sedation are a good thing. I, too, have a tilted uterus and was sedated for my transfer and also had a mock transfer. It went smooth as smooth can be. I am hoping and praying that yours is just the same this time.

You are in my thoughts.

So glad to see you're back and have a plan. I too think the sedation and another mock cycle would be good. I'm looking forward to seeing your updates as you approach your FET. How many frosties do you have? Forgive me for not remember, but my brain doesn't work very well these days

Welcome back
