This is ridiculous (venting)

The clinic called and left a message at home that they now want me in on Tuesday instead of Monday. I was already worried about waiting till Monday based on how screwy my e2 #s were and I'm now going to have to wait another day.

What erks (spelling?) me most about this is it's because I'm sure my donor is going in that morning and the EDC doesn't want me there when our donor is there I really HATE HATE HATE this anonymous thing. If I was one that wanted to be anonymous, I'd be happy that they are doing such a good job at keeping it that way

Thanks for letting me vent. I can't imagine the 2ww is going to be harder than this cycle has been already. Wow, I guess these hormones really are getting to me Thankfully, most of you have been there and can relate to my "explosive" behavior.

Oh no! Must they keep you in the dark until Tuesday?..that is torture. Sorry you are going through all of this hopefully the 2ww will be much easier. You are almost there! And yes the hormones you are on are adding sparks to your behavior.

Take care and I hope this is the last of the hiccups in this cycle! Don't forget to B R E A T H!

Ellen, I know it must be frustrating but like 50/50 said, you're almost there. Also, you have to keep us posted on what happens next week, so please try to relax, which I know is easily said than done (I was paranoid).

There must be a good reason for them wanting you to come the next day. I really doubt that it's because your donor is going to be there Monday. If you were both to be there on the same day they'd make sure that there were plenty of hours in between your appointments.

I know how incredibly frustrating it is to have to wait & not be told much info, but your RE is NOT going to do anything to compromise your cycle or the success of it. They want you to be successful too. It's hard to trust them all the time, but hang in there!! We'll help you along the way!

Ellen,

I'm the "look at the positive side" person, so as long as your donor gets to retrieval and you get to transfer, it's all good. I know it's frustrating, but certainly not as much as your cycle being cancelled or some other crappy outcome.

I'm sure they know what they're doing, they wouldn't make you wait at the risk of not having a positive outcome. Your clinic wants success! Try to relax and have a good weekend!

Kim

Just wanted to thank you all again for your support I'm feeling much better today. I think I just needed to let it out. I know my clinic wants this to work too and they wouldn't do anything to jeopardize our cycle. So I've got my +++++ hat back on (and hopefully it stays on this time) and thinking nothing but good thoughts! I don't want to make excuses (because I am definately a worrier and know that) but I really think some of my emotions are the result of the hormone manipulations with the lupron and the estradiol. That being said, I'll try to be less irrational with my "explosions".

Hugs to you all,

Glad you are feeling better Ellen.

I say vent away. With all the hormones and emotional summersaults we go through at every step in this process, it's better to let it out than have it eat you up inside. There is nothing wrong with you!!

Hugs,
Rhea

Ellen-Where else can you vent and have every single person completely understand what you're going through? I say-vent away but as flicka puts it..."it's all good" as long at you get your ED to retrieval and you to transfer...I haven't begun the "fun" yet but I am an impatient person to say the least and doesn't everyone know that the world needs to revovle around my IF issues?, ha ha!!
