Okay, I'm coming out!!

No silly, not like that.

I just mean I’ve been hiding out a bit, not posting about my upcoming donor cycle for all manner of reasons.

But it is here. Friday ER.

It is my 4th IVF but 1st with donor. For us it was a big step and a logical one at the same time. Dh and I had both previously agreed on international adoption if the IVF road didn’t work out (33 and never a good looking embryo). But then we stumbled onto DE by finding a more affordable clinic. I am full of hope that now we might have a chance of getting some half-decent embryos. But of course those nagging fears never leave. Just been through too many disappointments I guess.

I also have immune issues and am on IVIG (which I took for my last 2 IVF cycles) and heparin (which is new). Hoping all this business helps.

Looking forward to getting to know you.

Rhea

Rhea...I'm so excited for you! I hope this one will do the trick for you! I have been through 3 failed ivfs and know how disappointing it all is. It's so great to have DE as an option...thank God for modern medicine! Best of luck to you!

Rhea,
Just wanted to wish you good luck on your DE cycle. I'am doing DE too with transfer around June 24th. When is your transfer?
Positive sticky thoughts.

Oh my dear friend.

I am so excited for you. I know the doubts that you have - those nagging fears that never really go away but I am determined to keep you positive this cycle. This is your turn to shine. I will be watching and cheering you on every step of the way.

Hi Rhea

Gosh, the DE cycle is already upon you! Have to agree with AmyLeigh about what a godsend DE is ... genes turn out to be so insignificant in the face of love.

Wishing all good things for you ...
Love & hugs
