Emily'sMom Level 8 Emily'sMom Level 8 Emily'sMom Level 8 Emily'sMom Level 8
Just one thing after another ..

Well today I went in to follow up on my low e2 levels and have another lining check. My lining is an 8 with a triple stripe. Last Wednesday it was a 9 w/ ts. So it's only 1mm and probably just a measuring difference rather than a true lining difference, but shouldn't my lining have increased a bit from last week? It was an extra 5 days at a higher level of estradiol, not to mention the fact that I also had an acupuncture treatment in between. Oh, and get this, my e2 levels which were already low dropped too!!! This is very unlike me but I didn't even ask the # b/c I was afraid to know! She said the RE believes it was a lab error because there were a couple other people who's #s dropped. I didn't say anything to her b/c I really don't want to sound like I don't trust their expertise .. but if it's a lab error, wouldn't all the b/w for everyone be wrong? And if so, does that mean my donor's #s were low? Which, btw, my donor has started stims. Our estimated retrieval is now 6/17.

I have to go back on Wednesday to recheck my b/w & lining. Personally, I'd have felt a heck of a lot better if they let me come back in this afternoon to rerun it. They've upped my estradiol again but I'm really worried at this point. What are the chances I actually ovulated while on lupron at 10 units? Well I'm one of those people that always feel when my body is getting ready to ovulate. I happened to have those very same pains on cd10, which for me usually means I'd have ovulated on cd12. Is that possible? I just don't know what to think at this point. I'm praying that my RE is right and that it was lab error. So much for thinking this cycle was going to go off without a hitch.

Well that's my update for now. I'll update my saga again on Wednesday.

Thanks,

OMGosh! What a day. I was wondering what happened to you. Sorry to hear about your e2 and lining. But 8 is still good so you shouldn't be worried. That's strange that your e2 dropped...i would think they would have wanted you to come in right away to recheck if it was a lab error? Cuz why would they up it if the labs were wrong?

I had pain in my ovaries while I was on lupron and asked my RE the same question...could I ovulate. He said it is highly unlikely. I'm sure your RE knows what he is doing so try to relax...easy right?

I know this cycle will go well for you so hang in there. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us posted on your prgress.

Ellen I'm sorry that your lining isn't cooperating the way you want. It does sound like your lining is still fine for a transfer though. I'm wishing you luck in your upcoming transfer!
