Thanks 50/50. I'm really getting anxious to see what my lining is. I'm really hoping it's perfect so my donor can start stims in a few days. I'll definately post an update in the am. Not looking forward to the early morning wake up though. My clinic works on a first come first serve basis during morning clinic. The doors don't open until 7am but I have to be there by about 5:30am in order to be one of the first people
I have to be at work tomorrow at 8 and they don't know I'm cycling so I have to do my best to be really early there so I can get in & out. I'm curious, how did your clinic handle u/s & b/w? Was it done by specific appt or first come/first serve like mine? Well, thanks so much for thinking of me and wishing me luck. Will let you all know as soon as I can

Wow, I'm surprised your clinic does first come/first serve. Our clinic only does by appt only...there is usual no wait either.
I hope you can get in and out of there on time for work. I'm crossing my fingers that your lining is ready to gooooooo so your donor can start stims! |

I hate the morning clinic process. You still need an appt to go to morning clinic but even so it's still a fc/fs basis
It sucks! I got up at 4am this morning and arrived at the clinic at 5:40 - which thankfully did make me the first one. But would you believe within 5 minutes 2 more people showed up! Now keep in mind that clinic doesn't even start till 7am. When I have to work, I have no choice but to try to be #1. I arrived at work exactly at 8am this morning.Anyways, wanted to let you know I'm pleased to report my lining was a 9 with a triple layer!!!! They are going to leave a message at home with instructions. I'm still amazed that those teeny tiny estrace pills worked! I'm sure glad they did because now we should be able to keep our original schedule. So get this. Yesterday the EDC e-mailed me saying she'll probably see me in the morning. She works from home and is rarely at the clinic, especially not at 7am. Well she came down to catch me and I was just checking out. As I was waiting the receptionist said to the EDC - there was a young lady looking for you. The EDC said I know, I slipped her up the back and mentioned I asked her to call my cellphone. Well who do you think that young lady was???? I'm 99.999999999% sure it was our donor! Go figure I was in having my u/s when she was checking in at the front desk. Had I not been #1 today I might have caught a glimpse of our angel!!! Just thought I'd share.

Ellen-so glad to see that your lining is right where you need it!! All systems go! Did you heart start beating when you thought you may have gotten a glimpse of your ED. I keep wondering if I will ever see my ED at our clinic once we start cycling. I keep imagining that I will just know it's her even though I have only seen baby pics. Good Luck w/everything! Kinda crazy how early you had to get there! Cockadoodledooooo, up with the roosters

Glad to hear that your lining is a 9! Sounds like all systems are go. My clinic was also a first come, first serve basis. They did monitoring between 7-9 each morning. Nice to hear that you almost caught a glimpse of your egg donor. I went up the same elevator with mine on her retrieval date. I was going in for monitoring! I had her at a disadvantage, as I knew what she looked like and she had no clue as to what I looked like.
Keep us posted!

Ellen, congratulations on your lining!! You're off to a good start. Wow, the chance to see your egg donor was so close! Maybe during your next appointment. I remember when I was cycling there were couples staring at me and pointing. I actually think they thought I was their donor (I'm lucky to look young for my age). So, take an inventory next time, because you never know. Good luck, and when is the retrieval?
p.s. Sammy is my Jack Russell son. |

Thanks you guys
It's kind of funny. Last year when I dragged dh in to speak with the EDC to help get him on board I told her I'd be looking around for huge bellies She laughed at me. I wasn't even expecting her to be there today because I figured the EDC would avoid having us scheduled the same day due to the program being anonymous. I haven't seen any pics of her so about all I know is she's 26, brown hair and brown eyes. I'm always checking people out at morning clinic so had I been sitting in the lobby at the time I would have KNOWN who she was! I'd like to think we might have a chance "meeting" over the next 2 weeks but I'm guessing it won't happen. I can still wish, can't I?Sammysmom - Estimated retrieval is 6/15 .. just 2 weeks from today. OMG - I just realized that as I wrote it. Holy $hit!!! I'm planning on a 3dt. Did you do 3dayers or blasts? Sorry, but I forget which. My heads in the clouds right now - what does your ps - Sammy is my Jack Russells son mean? Sorry but I'm having a hard time thinking straight this morning
