First lining check .. what should I expect
Okay girls. I had my baseline last Monday, 5/23 and started estrace on Wednesday 5/25 (2mg am and 2mg pm). I have my first lining check is Wednesday morning (after 1 week on the estrace). I've done 19 days of lupron so far and my baseline lining was only a 3.5. What should I expect for a lining on Wednesday? I've never been on lupron before but in my previous injectible cycles I've never had a problem with my lining. It's almost always been in the 12-13 triple stripe range.
I am still quite calm about this cycle, which is kind of freaking me out a bit I'm never this calm!!! I'm guessing that'll all change once I know my donor has started stims. Then I'll probably be a basket case. I still can't believe I have less than 3 weeks till transfer! I can't get over how quickly time is flying!!! Before I know it I'll be in the dreaded 2ww. That's when I know I'll go crazy

Mine is a little diff since we did a mock cycle prior to cycling. But I was on Lupron for 21 days when I went in for my lining check and 12 days on Vivelle patches, my RE wanted my lining to be at 8-9 at this point. I was at 9.1 with a triple tier. My donor already triggered the night before.
I'm so excited for you Ellen! I can hardly wait to hear your donors progress! It is going to fly by and soon you will be in your 2ww! Plse keep us posted! Good luck on Wed! |

Hi Ellen - Hope all is going well for you. When is your next lining check? If your lining does not cooperate, they will increase the estrace. They did for me.
Things are moving along quickly. The 2ww is right around the corner and hopefully you will be on your way to a BFP!

50/50 - Thanks. Gosh, I would have been scared silly having my lining check after my donor triggered. I'm curious, was your lining consistent during your active cycle as it was during your mock? Are you still doing acupuncture? My payroll person went to one a few times to help her with her severe m/s when she was pg. Once I'm pg, I'll cut back to monthly. I'm still going every week and still enjoying it.
![]() Laenae - my lining check is tomorrow morning. My clinic doesn't do mock cycles. They told me they will get me where I need to be (lining wise) and then sustain me while my donor stims. They said she wouldn't start stims until my lining is good to go. Hopefully it's nice & thick tomorrow with the triple layer we all want. If all is well she should start stims either Friday or Saturday. As I've said a few times, I'm really having a hard time believing I'm actually cycling. I'm thinking it'll really hit me come Saturday when I realize our transfer will be in 2 weeks (assuming we keep to the original schedule). I'm going crazy at work because I have a lot I need to do between now & then Hopefully everything works out okay. I'm definately hoping for a BFP at the end of this month!!!I'll post tomorrow with my results.

Ellen- yes it was consistent. I wasn't too worried because we did do the mock cycle and I haven't had any probs in the past when combining with acupunture. Yes, I'm still seeing my acupunturist once a week. He wants me to continue 1x/week for the first trimester then I"m not sure what he'll recommend.
Good luck to you! Last edited by 50/50; 05-31-2005 at 09:59 AM. |
