Sheandog,
I have heard of the snowflakes program and even inquired about it some time ago. They have a pretty good informational website and I remember printing the most frequently asked questions before. I am in the process of waiting to do a donor embryo cycle throught my clinic. I had been on their waiting list for 5 years and finally got a call that they had a match for us. I was on the waiting list at a very small clinic in Johnson City, TN and they try to match by characteristics. We were not searching actively or would have probably found a clinic with a larger pool sooner. Anyways we are very excited and will get started probably in the middle to end of June with our cycle and the first of July or end of July should be our transer dates depending on when the clinic is ready. I think this is an excellent option for our sitiuation. We have tried IVF/ICSI twice and one cancelled cycle that did not work for us plus went thru tons of money. This is our next best option. for us, my eggs are old and dh's sperm is very few in single digits but possible with many tries and younger eggs it would work. We dont have the financial resourses, therefore we will do the donor embryo for sure! Will keep you all posted on our progess. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Hugs,
CathyNC
