Ellen - How is the Lupron going? You must be excited. Your donor must be starting stims some time next week? Things are happening fast. You will be having a transfer before you know it and then the dreaded 2ww. Keep us posted!

Yes, Ellen...what is going on with you? I have been thinking of you. You must be done with AF by now? Have you started any other meds yet (prog/estrogen)?

Hi girls. Thanks so much for checking in on me. I've just finished 2 weeks of lupron with no real problems I did have a major headache one day last week and I must admit I broke down and took 1 excedrin migraine which helped immensely. Nothing else since. AF started last Thursday and ended Monday. AF was a lot heavier than I expected which surprised the heck out of me. I had my baseline u/s & b/w on Monday. I don't know what my b/w #s were but they must have been fine b/c they didn't call. My lining was only 3.5. Yikes, that's very thin for me .. even at baseline. But I've spoke to a # of other people and they assure me that's normal and the estrace will really fatten it up. Speaking of which, I started estrace yesterday. 2mg in the morning and 2mg at night. My next lining check is next Wednesday 6/1. If all is well, I believe my donor will start stims on 6/3 or 6/4. I have less than 3.5 weeks to go. OMG .. the time is really flying.

I'm still doing weekly acupuncture and will continue up through transfer. Hopefully it is working! I hope this doesn't sound bad, I can't say I'm in that excited mode .. YET. It all just doesn't seem real to me. I think it's because I have to do so little for this cycle. KWIM? I don't think it's hit me yet. I'm guessing it'll start to seem more real when I know my donor has started stims. I told my acupuncturist last week that I'm amazed at how calm I am. I was an absolute wreck prior to choosing a donor and then after that waiting for her AF (which of course was late and set me off even more). But now - WOW. As I told him .. "Everything just feels right". I'm a little concerned that I'm too positive about the outcome of this cycle ..

Well, I'll be sure to update again after my official lining check. Thanks again for asking

Hugs to you all!!!

Ellen,

Don't worry about being too positive. I'm sure your mood during the 2ww will make up for it!!! Glad to hear that everything is underway and you're feeing good. Enjoy the FET and not having to do much. Let us know how your donor is progressing!

I wouldn't worry too much about your lining...it's still very early and you are doing acupunture as an added bonus. Plus your RE won't even start stims on your donor until you are ready so that's nice.

I think I felt that way too....it doesn't seem real cuz you aren't involved in the process of your donor. You are lucky if you even hear any news about how she is doing...so it doesn't seem real at all. Once you hear how she is progressing it will start to hit you and you will be beyond excited!

I think it's a good thing to think positive about the outcome! I know I'm thinking positively for you as well! I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you too! I can hardly wait to hear your progress! Plse keep us updated.

Ellen, I love your positive attitude. Only 3.5 weeks to go! How exciting! I hope your lining continue to fatten up and get ready to make a nice comfy home for your future dd or ds! (or both hee hee!)

Ellen - This is really an exciting time! Your donor will start stims this week. You will be surprised to see how fast the time will fly by! Retrieval/Transfer are just around the corner.

Hope you had a good Memorial Day weekend!
