Update on Transfer

Well beside my name was a maybe....I am scheduled for transfer
tomorrow at 2:15....but, they are to call me 10ish and I may get
bumped to day 5.....I wonder why....??? Anyway, 8 are left and doing
well...one was lost over day 2? They did not give a why of this? Maybe
they are not even certain.

So......I am here in limbo...hopefully will go tomorrow....
While I was writing this my Doc called to check in.....he said still
day 3 or day 5 and not sure.....and that if they can pick the best
two tomorrow will be the day but if uncertain it will be day 5...so confusing to me! He said they might just do a single so that we don't run the risk of twins...but I told him no....we would love twins!

Will check in tomorrow.....

Keep us posted on what he decides. They all must be looking pretty good? I would definately put at least 2 back. One is really risky to me? Good luck!

I'm sorry you feel like you're in limbo. I've never done IVF before but my gut tells me to go with a 3day transfer. And I would definately transfer 2. My dh would prefer to only transfer one b/c he's absolutely petrified of twins .. but I told him there's no way I'm going through all this to transfer one embie!

Fingers crossed that you get to transfer tomorrow. Hang in there.

I would really push for a 3dt. They'll do better in you than they will in a dish & by trying to take them to day 5 you run the risk of losing them all.

Gayle - How are your little ones doing? Will they do a transfer today or Saturday? Please let us know. Take care of yourself and be sure to have DH spoil you rotten while you take it easy.

I am 44 as well...so I feel like I want to rush every procedure...Doc assures me that waiting til day 5 (Saturday) was the best thing to do....???? He is the one that should know I guess...do you know of a web site that explains the difference between day 3 and day 5?
I have cleaned out the fridge...been grocery shopping....bought magazines, books...I am ready and DH is waiting to spoil!
Hopefully Saturday will come soon.
