Good news on my ultrasound :)

I went in for my first ultrasound today; I'm 6w5d. And the RE saw two heartbeats! She didn't count the heartbeats; when I asked she said she "doesn't do that" but they looked "good." She did say that one sack looked much smaller than the other and she's not sure that both will make it. But it was so reassuring to actually see the heartbeats! I now have to wait 2 more weeks until the next ultrasound; she said she'll know more then. Thanks for all your support.

Congratulations X 2 What a wonderful report, now relax and enjoy. I remember that feeling of seeing two heartbeats and it is reassuring then you can't wait to see them again (just to be sure). Two weeks will go by quickly.

** pg/child ment **

I know how scared you were & I'm glad that things are looking good!! In my 1st pregnancy, we saw 2 h/b's at 6w1d, but Baby B was quite a bit smaller. By 8w the baby had stopped growing & no longer had a h/b, but Baby A is now 4 1/2 years old!! I hope that your 2nd little one catches up but know that *if* it doesn't make it, you have VERY good odds of your other little one growing away!!

I'll be praying that they grow beautifully & that you'll be sharing good news with us after your next u/s!!

Karen
