My 3rd Beta results....
My 3rd beta came in at
1100 17dp3dt 233 14dp3dt 63 11dp3dt My RE is still concerned about it? He says he's cautiously optimistic. But he said that that explains why he couldn't see anything on the u/s. He said if my beta was over 1500 on friday and there is no sac then he will have to do a more entensive u/s on my tubes to see if it is ectopic. I think he is just being paranoid? I don't know why he is telling me all this stuff. Am I in denial? I think my numbers look good? What do you gals think? It did go up more than 4x though? 50/50

I think it's good. Maybe you could post your beta #s and question on the pg boards. Just a thought. I still think maybe you just had a late implanter .. I don't even want to think about those other 2.
Yup, they usually can't see anything unless your beta is greater than 1,500. What does 17dp3dt equate to as pg #w#d? Forgive my ignorance. I say, CONGRATS again on another great beta!

Looks good to me
They said that to me too because my #'s were so high they thought it could have been a molar (sp?) pg. I think your betas look great!!! Best of luck!

50/50-I'm staying positive for you...I think RE's tend to be a little cautious because they want to spare you as much pain IF something were to happen. As if his caution could spare anything...god forbid something did happen.....I think you should continue to cautiously celebrate, how about that?

Sorry, but may I
your RE in the nose for saying that crap to you??? Honestly! Your numbers look just fine to me!! My last cycle, my 2nd beta tripled & they never uttered a word to me about things not looking good!! I had a singleton & had we gone by the numbers I had, we could have thought twins because I was pregnant with twins in my first cycle & my numbers were almost identical (only off by a few numbers) for both cycles!! You just hang tight my dear & ignore the RE for now. If your next u/s doesn't reveal what it should, then it might be time to start wondering, but for now, your numbers look great!!! ![]() ![]() Karen

I think your numbers look great. Your numbers are doubling every 32.2 hrs according to this website http://www.ivfer.com/hcg.htm They should double every 48-72 hrs under 1200.
Congratulations, hopefully I will be joining you on the pg bb from my upcoming cycle.

50/50,
I would be willing to lay money on the fact that things are just fine at this point......in a chemical pregnancy....numbers should rise very slowly and they are most often slower to rise with an ectopic........considering that I am a mother of twins......I would be more inclined to think you may have a really strong singleton or more than one in there. Next week for the u/s is still very early to see too much of anything. My RE will not even do an u/s until 7 weeks. So, try to relax as much as you can, considering what he has told you. We are here to support you.........remember that. Margaret Anne |
