Question Should I be worried? Beta 2 results in.

My beta on Monday 3/21, 9dp5dt, was 100.
My beta on Wednesday 3/23, 11dp5dt was 186.

The nurse said they like to see a 60% rise within 48-72 hours, and my rise was higher. She told me not to worry and that it was within range and that I should come in on Friday 3/25 for another beta. Not worry? Easier said then done! My boobs are not as sore as they were a few days ago, so I am worried.

Can anyone give me reassurance that this PG isn't sunk? I am nervous about tomorrow.

    Thanks ladies.

You are doing just fine. Betas should double every 2 to 3 days and yours fall within that just fine. There is actually a beta board in case you'd like to obsess over this (like I did!) . I think there is a link in the pinned part that allows you to put in your numbers and get some info.

Also, you will find that pg symptoms come and go, esp during those first 2 months. Maddening, but it DOES happen A LOT! Hope the beta tomorrow will give you comfort; I'm betting it will!

I put your numbers in an online program and you're doubling every 53.6 hours, so I'd say that you are right on target and not to worry. You're suppose to double every 60 hours on average. Good luck!!!

((hugs)) and you have already gotten great answers. Oh, early pregnancy SUCKS! Especially for those of us who know too much and are no longer pregnancy "virgins".

("pregnancy virgins" - kind of an oxymoron I guess, huh?!)

    Hang in there, hon -

I know that it's a bit scary that they didn't exactly double, but yes, it's fine. They're not that far off from having doubled, so try to hang in there!! Looking forward to tomorrow's results!!

As the others have said, it's alright that they didn't quite double. They're close & that's fine. People sometimes forget that it's not a hard & fast "48 hour" rule. It can be within 48-72 hours. Good luck on your next beta!!!

    I have to agree too..........
When I got pregnant with my son my 2nd beta didn't double either. It did raise alot but not the "doubling" that they say. I wouldn't stress yourself out...........relax, your numbers sound great. YOUR PREGNANT!!!

Thank you everyone. I was so nervous because the lack of symptoms the past couple of days and the not doubling number.

My update is on a new thread.

Thanks so much for your care and concern. It has helped me get through the past few days.
