Transfer today went well
We just got home from the transfer and I'll be heading to bed momentarily, but wanted to put in my report. Out of 5 that fertilized we had 3 grade 1 (RE called them "perfect") embies and the other 2 looked stalled and were grade 4.
We had to make that tough decision: 2 or 3. So, based on the thought that these are younger eggs, we definitely don't want triplets, and we want to avoid SR if at all possible, we went with 2. Hopefully the other perfect embie will make it to freeze and will give us a little bit of security, but we won't know about that until next week. Of course, if this fresh is a BFN and the other one doesn't make it to freeze, we'll wonder if we made the right choice, but we did the best we could.... Beta is 4/4. So, now I am officially PUPO!! ![]() Hilde

Good luck!
Sounds like you got 2 great embies! My clinic will only do 2 max, so that decision is made for me.. We actually did shared risk and this is our first go round....today was retrieval day. Get your rest, stay off your feet, and best of luck to you! Keep us posted. Gayle :stickyvib |

Great to hear your update Hilde. I believe if I were in your stead, I would have made the same choice to transfer 2, if I was given a choice. In my case, they only transferred 2 and did not ask me.
Relax and take it easy the next few days. I put myself on bedrest for 2 1/2 days. My Clinic told me to take it easy, but I wasn't taking any chances. Have DH pamper you now and try not stress out too much. I will be thinking of you and sending :stickyvib your way. Good luck!

That sounds great, Hilde. I think transferring two is a great decision. I'm sure that the third one will make it!!
Now take it easy and try to think positive.

Sounds like a great transfer. I think you made a good decision on transferring 2 and freezing 1. Stay positive.
Fingers crossed, Ellen
