fert report - same as posted in IVF/High Tech board
Well, given that we had only 8 eggs to start with, I guess we're still in the game - 5 were mature and 5 fertilized. That's all I know. Transfer is set for Monday at 11:30. I'm disappointed that chances are we won't have any to freeze, but one never knows.... Hopefully fresh will work.
In the meantime, I've got to work overtime tomorrow, so I guess that'll help keep my mind off the waiting.... Regardless, I am thankful to our wonderful donor. Hilde

Hilde-I'm sorry that you are disappointed but there is still hope that they will all make it to Monday and you may have 2 or 3 to freeze. Do you know how many they plan to transfer? My RE recommends only 2 if DE.
Yes, keep busy so you won't have much time to think about it! Good luck on Monday! And plse keep us posted on your transfer. |

If you think about it - you had 100% fertilization! I have to believe that means those 5 mature eggs they had are very good! Thinking growing embie thoughts for you. That's great that you have something to keep you occupied this weekend.
Good luck tomorrow. Ellen

5 of 5 is great! I hope they're all good quality for you. Have you decided how many to transfer? What does your RE recommend?

I guess we'll have to wait and see how many are left and what quality they are. My default thought is 2, but we'll see what RE recommends...
I HATE waiting! You'd think we'd be better at after so many cycles, but it never seems to get easier... ![]() Hilde

Hilde - 5 out of 5 was good. I hope they all make it to tomorrow and you have some left over for freezing. Hopefully, you will be successful with the fresh cycle and won't need to do an FET.
Please let us know how everything goes tomorrow. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
