Texas DE/IVF clinics?

Is anyone here from Texas? I'm not, but am considering going there for DE/IVF because it seems like the costs for a cycle are less than east or west coasts. Feedback on clinics appreciated!

I'm not in Texas at all, just looking at possibly doing a cycle there if I can find a clinic that is affordable with good success rates. Do you know any? You can email me at ladybuglive@yahoo.com

I have a friend who lives in TX & her DE cycle was outrageous!!!! She could've done a cycle at my RE, in MI, for a little more than half of what she was going to have to spend.

I suppose it would depend on where you're looking to go & if they have their own donor pool. The RE my friend was going to didn't have his own donor pool so she was going to have to go through an agency, which added A TON of money onto her cycle cost. She ended up using her sister, so she didn't have to go through an agency.

Good luck!! If you want some names of RE's in TX, you can go the IVF & High Tech bb & ask for RE recommendations in TX. There are currently several ladies from TX on the other bb.

I know the clinic we used for our third and fourth IVF and ICSI cycles do. It is a husband and wife team, DRs. Kevin and Kathleen Doody at the Center for Assisted Reproduction it is in Bedford which is Fort Worth.

You can email the Center for Assisted Reproduction in Bedford, Texas and they will send you the prices if they aren't listed on their website already. Rebecca

I have done 2 cycles in Austin with Austin IVF & one in Houston at Baylor ART. I thought Baylor was very reasonable with their prices. You can also do donor embryos transfers there really reasonably.

Good luck!

I have done two cycles. One at Baylor in Houston - unsuccesful and I wasn't impressed - and one with The Center of Reproductive Medicine in Webster - just south of Houston. I am now pregnant from that cycle and am totally impressed with them. They have there own donors and everyone was just great. Best of all it worked! It cost $18,500 + donor and my meds - about $23,000 or so. Is that cheaper than where you are?

I just wanted to add that we did out third and fourh cycles of IVF and ICSI with the Doodys at Center for Assisted Reproducton in Euless.

Our first and second cycles were with another doc in Dallas. Both were failures due to his mistakes.

As you can see below our cycle with the Doodys resulted in our two sons.

Ice,

We had Dr. Carson at Baylor and our main Dr. is Schnell at CORM, but Dr. DeSplinter actually did our transfer.
