New to this board
Hello,
I'm new to this board but not to FT, after 10 miscarriages and soon to be 45 we have decided to go donor egg route. We have picked our donor and her medical history and previous donor cycle(with protocol and everything) has been sent to my RE. This would be her 2nd time and she has 3 children of her own and she looks like my side of the family. We should hear back from the RE to see if she was accepted as a donor. Good luck to every one DebbieDett

Welcome Debbie.........
to the board and to the DE Journey! So sorry to hear about 10 miscarriages. One M/C for me was enough to hang up the towel with respect to ttc for over a year. It was difficult but I got back in the game. Once I decided to ttc again, I decided it was no longer going to be with my eggs and I woud embark in new territory with DE. I commend you for your perseverence in your pursuit of having a family and wish you only the best in your endeavor.
It sounds like your donor has a great background and 3 kids so that you know she is successful. Now that you have made your decision to go the donor egg route, things will begin to progress quickly and before you know it, you will be on your way and in the midst of a cycle. I look forward to your updates. I am scheduled for a transfer either tomorrow or Saturday, and let me tell you it is nerve-wracking as well as exciting. Will keep you posted. Good luck and once again welcome. Love, Laenae
