Thanks! I'm sorry I didn't respond yesterday. For some reason I couldn't access the board from home (I'm off on Wednesdays).
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for sure. Fortunately I've been able to distract myself by looking into schools for my 4 year old boy (IUI) and I found a FANTASTIC Montessori school, so I'm happy... ![]() I'll be keeping an eye on you... Hilde

Hi Hilde..........
Glad to hear you found a school for your son. :-) Wouldn't it be great if we both got PG this cycle and gave our kids a sibling? I have a DD who just turned 5 and constantly asks why she doesn't have a brother or sister. I hope I finally can give her one.
How is your donor doing? Keep me posted. Love, Laenae

Donor and I both go in for monitoring tomorrow a.m., so hopefully tomorrow afternoon I'll have a better idea of when retrieval/transfers will be next week.
Yes, indeed, it would be great to give sibling to DS. But, more and more, I feel that we will be alright with "only" one child. At least we will know we did all we could. We've done 9 cycles (IUIs with Follistim and IVFs with PGD) and this DE is our last chance (no more insurance coverage). I'll be 45 in August and DH will be 50 in July, so I'm ready to be done. I crave closure on the whole issue.... Hang in there with the waiting! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.Hilde

You and I are on the same wavelength. I was all set to give up but thought that DE would be our last hope. I wanted to know that we did everything possible to give DD a sibling. We went through so many injectable/IUI cycles, 5 IVFs and 1 FET. Insurance did not pay for anything and we have paid for everything out of pocket to-date. It will all be well worth it if we have success in the end. I don't yet know if we will give up our pursuit of completing our family if this fresh cycle or FETs deriving from same do not produce a pregnancy. DH and I have talked about it and said we would cross that bridge when we come to it. I hope we don't have to cross that bridge!
Let's hope this is the cycle for both of us. I will look for your updates. Love, Laenae
