Miss Kitty and Tryinginnc: So nice to hear that others are looking at intrafamily donation too. My sister is 36 and she will be 37 in July. My RE said if we are going to do this then we need to move faster than slower....she will need to do a cct to see her reserve first and that will take place after she comes off BCP for a month. It may be a process just to see if she would make a good donor. I think in both your situations, your sis' are good ages! GL and let's Keep in touch.

Hey guys. Well, the RE visit was very informative. He was "impressed" with my response last cycle so we will wait and see if my numbers are "good" (low fsh etc.). If fsh is low enough RE wants to go ahead with IUI #7...wa hoo.

If my FSH is high then we will go ahead and do a mock month on estrogen to test to see how long it takes my lining to thicken up. Anyone else do this? Then they are going to put me on B/C and my sister too in order to line up our cycles and then lupron to keep us from ovulating too soon. Then finally she will be on gonal-f and I will be on progesterone and estrogen...does this sound like everyone else's rx? :

Tryinginnc, Your DEIVF protocol sounds like what mine would be when I figure out if/when I am doing DE. I hope your FSH is low so you can do IUI#7. AAH to have low FSH....

I'm just coming off of getting the news of my fourth FSH blooddraw. Today's was 85.4....(3 others have been 19, 37.4 and 90!) Premature Menopause anyone? My RE said that my chances of getting pg on my own with POF is 1-2% per IVF Cycle. How grim...he said we would have to go straight to DE. Lots to contemplate.
