Ready to get donor

Dh and I are getting anxious to begin but we have to wait now for the next list. That should be the 16th and hopefully we will find a match. All our test have been updated ,we went this week for SA results were volume 6.4, count 42.6 , motility 81.9 , viab.84% , morh. 8% can't recall #'s from 8 yrs ago but this sound pretty close. My HSG the RE insisted on after my failed FET in Nov. should an all clear! It feels like it's taking a very long time like we are in slow motion. But I am trying to stay positive which can be easier said than done. Is anyone else going to be using donor eggs anytime in the near future ? Maybe we will be going through this at the same time.

Bonnie

Bonnie,
I'm not going through a cycle right now, but I just wanted to wish you the very best as you wait to look for a donor!! I hope that you find the perfect match & that you'll soon be posting your wonderful news!! Come on over to the IVF bb too! There are LOTS of ladies doing a cycle & some that are doing DE cycles too!! You'll have loads of cycle buddies!!!

Good luck Bonnie

I know this whole process can seem like it takes forever. I am finally after almost a year of waiting --- cancelled first donor and waited for the second -- getting to cycle. The donor's retrieval is March 7th and transfer is likely on March 10th.

I hope you will find a donor soon and cycle soon. I look forward to your updates.

Best of luck to you.

Love,
Laenae

Good luck with your search Bonnie! Would you like me to add you to the cycling chart? The right donor is out there, hopefully you'll find her in this next list?

Best of luck finding your perfect match It's exciting, isn't it? I hope to be looking at donor profiles very soon too. Perhaps we'll be cycle buddies in the near future.

Thanks everyone for the welcome,I can't wait for this to get going. After our failed FET last Nov. we have been sort of coasting into this. The list of donors from my clinic is due out 3/16 we will have 2 weeks to pick they told me to try and choose as many as possible so we can have a better chance at being matched. I would really like a donor as close to my looks and blood type as I can. We really wish we could get the same one as last time (8 yrs.ago). Is it better to go with a proven or unproven donor? And what about age I know younger is probably better right? Its funny we were never aware of all the things to consider so much when we did this before.I think the first time in 1989 was one of the first ones done with donor eggs.
mod-donor, I hope we are ready to go with April or early May,that sound so far away right now. I'll keep you posted .

50/50 Level 1
Hi Bonnie,

Friday our RE told us that he thinks we can start our cycle in the mid of April. Our donor just had her med eval and psych eval last week and passed both. She now needs to do her legal counsel and her blood screens. Hopefully all of that will go fine. It did seem like it took forever to find our donor. Our donor is 23 yrs old and is a first time donor.

I hope that you find your perfect match. I really think we did. She is the same height and weight as I am but doesn't look like me much.

Good luck!
