Post wash numbers low?? (m)

I had my first IUI today using frozen DS. Once thawed, his numbers were as follows:

Volume= 0.50 mL
Motility=50%
Progression= 3+
Post wash count= 17.3 million
Total motile/insemination sperm= 8.7 million

The IUI nurse said that the total motile is on the low end. What do these numbers sound like to you? Should I be concerned?

Thanks.
Laurie

50% motility doesn't sound great, but still possable. Was this info coming from the embryologist, the RE, or an andrologist? I would be curious what an andrologist/urologist would say about the numbers.

The wash report came from th Andrology lab. It was the IUUI nurse who said that the total motile sperm was a bit on the low side. I will go in to return the tank on Monday & see the Lab supervisor so she can review the. (It was the Univ. Lab that is unaffiliated with the Hospital where the IUI was done.)

Thanks.
