egg donor contracts
My husband and I just found out we need an egg donor. We have a friend sent from heaven that is willing to donate. My husband would like there to be a legal contract involved. Has anyone done this with a private donor? Do you know where we could get an example of a contract? Appreciate any help we can get.
Thanks, Dee

There are attorneys who specialize in this kind of legislation. Maybe a couple of phone calls would help you locate one. Or maybe your RE knows someone?
Good Luck!

I think I would DEFINITELY do a legal contract whether it's a friend, stranger, or someone you've gotten to know. We have had 2 egg donor contracts done through a surrogacy attorney in CA..... Andrew Vorzimer. I recommend him. Good Luck!

I just wanted to tell you that I am going to be an egg doner for my sister. Yes, there are legal doc. to sign before the procedures complete. These state the any and all embroys that result from the ED belong to the couple and state... It is understood that once eggs are removed from a doner, the doner relinquishes all control of those eggs for the agreed purpose. The eggs and resulting embryos belong to the recipent couple and/or the ..... Program and the doner has no responsibilities or rights of any kind in relation to such eggs or embryos.
There are consent forms to sign and there are N.Y. state laws that I as the doner have to be seen by a social worker.. I hope this helps you in some way... Best of luck to the two of you!!! |

You definitely need.............
a contract just to cover all the bases. It is important to have your rights protected. I can recommend the attorney I used for my DE contract. She specializes in this type of law and was excellent. Go to web site www.reproductivelawyer.com.
Love, Laenae

Hey, I found a contract online and used it with my friend. No lawyer involved...just got it signed, notarized and each have a copy. A friend who is a lawyer said it was all good and it works for us! The website is down or has moved where I found it, but I can email it to you. Just let me know if you are interested!
