Laenae!!!!

Barging over to say my GOSH it is good to see you again! You were one of the very first FT people with whom I had conversations back in late 2002 or whenever I came on. I even posted on the IVF board last spring asking if anyone remembered you and knew where/how you were.

Good luck on this new endeavor - lurking on other threads here I know you will get all the support you need.

I hang out on the Parenting over 35 board, and pop in elsewhere too. Come see me!

Love,

NL

Hi Nance!!!!!

It is so good to hear from you. I missed you and my friends on FT. How is Spin doing?

So sorry that I have been incommunicado. After I had my miscarriage and subsequent failed IVF, DH and I were in Limbo where completing our family was concerned. Just didn't do anything treatment-wise. We were disheartened having spent so much money cycle after cycle with no results and it was difficult facing each disappointing month after month. So, I guess my way of dealing with it was to stay away from FT and treatments altogether. Last year around May, we decided to go the donor egg route after much agonizing. (I was having a hard time giving up on my own eggs.) The first donor was cancelled due to the fact that she was a carrier for Tay Sachs disease and we selected another donor in August. She was cycling in October with another recipient and we had to wait for her. It has been almost a year since we made our decision and we are finally on our way!

How are you and your DH doing? Where are you in treatments?

I look forward to keeping up and running into you around the threads here on FT.

Great to hear from you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love,

Laenae
