I haven't used them, but shouldn't the agency be able to tell you an average wait range for an egg donor?

I know with our surrogacy agency, 6-8 months was a quoted wait on the brochure. We realize nothing is guaranteed, and expected to receive profiles in that time range. But that was an average wait range with of course come couples being matched before 6 months and some couples being matched later at say 9 months.

Does this egg donor agency guarantee they will at least present you with profiles at some point? I think if you have paid them up front a fee they should at least present you with some profiles in a time range that is written or stated. That would seem fair. I know the wait is hard, but it's WORTH IT!!!

I am going through IVF with RMA NJ now. But I don't know anything about their DE program. However, may I ask you have you gone through any IVF with RMA yet? Is yes, how was your experience?

Thank you!!

Ivy

I did 2 de cycles at RMA NJ (and now have a 10 month old ds to prove it!). For the first cycle I waiting about 3 weeks for a donor. For the second cycle I was matched within days of the bfn from the first cycle. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your responses

RMA did tell me it could take 6-8months to be matched. I'm hoping for sooner. It's been 2 months as of yesterday.

Ivy-
I did do a cycle at RMA in September I also did 2 previous cycles at another clinic. Unfortunately I crashed and burned at my RMA cycle. 8 eggs retrieved and zero for transfer...this is when it was decided I have poor egg quality. They looked at that cycle and my 2 previous (one of which I m/c at 9.5 wks). As for RMA...they were wonderful. My transfer went great and the staff was fantastic. Wish you lots of luck!

NJHeidi-
Thanks for the info on RMA, I guess the wait is longer now than when you cycled. I'm hoping they are overshooting how long I'll have to wait. I'll wait as long as I have to, I just want to be pg so badly.

mod-MAV-
You aren't kidding when you say the wait is hard..I'm ready to get on a cycle NOW!! I've been cycling for so long between IUI/IVF I can't stand just waiting around! UUGH!!
