About LinkBacksI finished the patchwork 5-tiered twirly dress I was working on tonight but since I wasn't ready to call it a night, I decided to play with my ribbons that I just got from one of the gals here (actually, over on the LA bb) and omg, I never knew how FUN it could be!!!! I think the reason I never picked it up before was because of the glue gun. I don't know what I was thinking, but I honestly thought it was something like a staple gun where the thing shoots dangerous pellets of hot glue at you as you took aim all this time.... I was afraid of it and never really thought much more than that about it. Well, I bought a glue gun last week and tried it out today with a scrap of ribbon and wellwell, the thing OOZES rather than shoots. cool!
So I made this ribbon bow. attached an alligator clip to it and I now have a new hair thingy for dd!!!
(hmmm, I wonder if I could do away with the nonsense of a sewing machine altogether and make clothes with a glue gun...
)

so apparently, you CAN make clothes with a glue gun. Just not with flammable fabrics (not that I use that stuff anyway) and wash in cold, no heat drying.
