Have you seen AccuQuilt Go! ????

What a great idea! It's like the Elison paper cutters so many schools and scrapbook shops have. Why didn't anyone think of this before? I could never justify it with the miniscule amount of quilting I do, but I think this is totally cool and wish I could justify it.

Lovw it! I was at Joanne's a couple of months ago with money to burn (GC) and they didn't have it and had never heard of it. So, I got the gypsy for the cricut. (Hot thrilled with it.)
I was at Joanne's today and I was looking at the AccuQuilt and right at that moment dh and my boys came in to pick me up. (They were buying a gift at Toys R Us.) Whew! Save just in the nick o' time. I figure, if they couldn't get toys at Toys R Us, then it was fair for me to get a toy at JOanne's.
Really, I don't need it AT ALL. I just WANT it!

I really want the Cricut that cuts fondant for cakes. Why, I don't know. My cake decorating supplies are getting rusty as we speak.

    Love these gadgets.

If this was given to me, I would go happy/crazy with the rounds, but to spend almost $400 on this... hmmmm....

I sorta enjoy cutting fabric as well. I like to use scraps so this machine might not work on my cheapstyle quilting.

Tell me why you like to cut fabric. I really don't like that part and maybe if I understand why you do, I might in the future. I'm funny that way.

I like taking fabric pieces, especially the remnant pieces that most people would consider useless/too small, and figuring out where they would go in the quilt. I guess I like being able to just do it the way *I* want rather than from a template. which is why I actually dislike cutting fabric for clothes. When I have to cut for clothes, I usually cut multiple pieces at a time so I can make 2 or 3 dresses at a time. cut cut cut, piece, piece, piece, sew, sew, sew... finish, finish, finish... but if I make a mistake, it's usually, "#$%!!, "#$%!!, "#$%!!. hahah.

I bought some fabric on my latest trip home. I'm planning to make some play smocks for my kids. I need to clean out my craft room before I can start so it'll be a while.
