Is anyone working on anything?

I'm always knitting...but should be working on finishing the baby blanket for oldest SD's baby girl. She is due June 21st.

I have 10 things each that I need to make for my kids but so far I have only gotten 4 dresses and 1 trouser done. I am on a break from the sewing machine right now because I need to make some money and space.

I wil try to post pics later.

I have the front squares cut and laid out for a rag quilt. I had to get more fabric for the back squares. A couple squares are a jersey/knit material the rest are flannel. Will the jersey/knit "rag" like flannel?

I think it will. I'm glad you posted this because most of my girls' clothes are knit and when I'm done with them I donate the good ones but just throw away the ones with stains or tears. It always seems like such a waste because not all of the fabric is useless, but I've never known what to do with it. A rag quilt might be just the thing. :tappingheadwithaknowingsmile:

Oh that is so precious!!! Our Joann's has a horrible fabric selection!! I have to drive to Houston to find anything decent.

Those are darling pictures!!!

I've got the last dress almost done, but now I have to do the zipper. I hate doing zippers because they usually turn out looking like "loving hands made at home." After the zipper it's just the sleeve hems and the bottom hem. Hallelujiah!
