Dec Due Date Buddies Week of July 24 - July 30

arianna- I am Super Witch! I don't know if it is pregnancy related or if it is b/c I took myself off my antidepressant (I know I know bad nurse). I did learn that my depression IS chemical instead of situational. I can tell a real difference. So back to Prozac I go.......

jdavis- WOW that's a LOT of people. My SIL's shower was about like that. She had the first grandchild, so everyone was super excited. I may get several small showers (work, friends, ect) , but I've been told by my family I "waited" too long to get pregnant. DH and I are the last to have children. His sister has 2, my older sister has 2, oldest brother 2, younger sister 2, second oldest brother 1, middle brother 4, and youngest brother 1. Both sets of grand parents say they are burnt out on grandkids. *sigh*

Dana- Happy that one baby looks good. Crossing my fingers for a boy for you. Can't wait to hear genders.

Nothing terribly new with me. Trying to stay cool. Hopefully the sentencing phase for my brother's death will be over soon. We have another court date August 8. This has drug on for to long. I want closure so I can heal.

It's ben a little while since I posted anything and saw my ticker. It is kinda funny that the baby is sucking its thumb. That is Connor's favorite pasttime. Every ultrasound I've had lately he had a thumb in his mouth

Hi everyone! Had the 2nd part of my sequential screen today (labwork). Just a few more weeks until the gender scan - 8/17 - same day as Smurfy! I'm still thinking boy but we'll see... I will be thrilled either way, boy or girl. Just wanting a healthy baby. Glad to see everyone's updates. Love the belly pic, Queen!

Does anyone feel bigger than they think they look? When I see myself in pictures, I definitely look smaller than I feel. I have a couple more weeks to wait until next ultrasound. I love them, though. I love seeing what the babies are doing and knowing that they are okay. I am still not feeling anything big (maybe bubbles or what I think may be a little tap but then could it be gas?) Can't wait until I can feel nice kicks. Is anyone else addicted to adding to their wishlist on Amazon? I've been doing more online looking than I should... Hope you are all having a good week!

faithful: I'm the opposite, I look bigger than I feel. :p I haven't been on Amazon much but I've been adding a lot of stuff to my BabiesRUs registry. It's so much fun... oh and I love browsing online for cute winter hats for my little guy.

you are so tiny that it is probably showing more. Who is getting 'special' treatment from strangers now that you are pregnant? i.e. opening doors, offering to help carry things? People sharing their pregnancy stories or their children's pregnancies?

faithful - I feel bigger than I apparently look. My clothes are fitting a little differently. I'm 18 weeks, but everyone around me says they can't tell yet. As for the bubbles and tapping, I think that's your baby. At my last appt, my OB asked if I was feeling anything and I told her I had some feelings like what you said but thought it was gas. She said it was probably the baby. So enjoy.

dana - Sorry you're sick. Hope you get to feeling better!

Here is a belly pic from 2 weeks ago, the day we found out the gender. I have been SUPER bad about getting dh to take my picture this time around. I like to do them every week to see the growth but I haven't done one since then and I'm 19w4d now. My face looks soooo cheesy here!

Not certain what you mean by 'cheesy'...I think you look lovely! Great colour on you. Is that a maternity shirt, or a regular one? It looks stylish.

I've had to break out a couple of my maternity shirts and man they are LAME! Need to get shopping! Unless I have another box of maternity clothes buried in the crawl space..... Nah! Need to buy a couple of nice shirts! My starting weight is almost what my delivery weight was with my youngest and with the extra hormones and weight, my bust is much bigger than last time. My bust didn't increase much my last pregnancies, until I started nursing.

Love the belly shots! Makes it seem real to see yours!
