Jack- 11 lb 8 oz and 23 in
Nathan- 9lb 13 oz and 22.5 in
The dr was pleased with them and their progress and both got poked a few times....
I have been concerned about nate and his breathing/noises and he finally did the weird stuff at the dr. My dr wasnt all that concerned. He said that he is definately not sick (no RSV etc) and his lungs sound fine. He is sending him for a chest x ray tomorrow though. He thinks it might be allergies or a narrow trachea. i think it might be the trachea thing or a floppy epiglotis. Both are pretty much the "they will grow out of it" things, but i am still nervous and worried. He did say that depending on the xray we might have to go to a pediatric pulmonologist, and the WORST case senerio is surgey if his trachea is WAY too narrow. The thing is, he doesnt make the noise all the time, so he doesnt think it is really affecting him all that much. He is generally a happy little guy and is growing great. I guess we just have to wait and see.....Amy-28 DH-27

As far as the solids go, I had to start DD on solids at 10 weeks and she did awesome. In fact i was tempted to try the boys on cereal soon in attempts to get them to last a little longer between feedings, but i think i'll wait a while on that one. You should listen to your gut on this one. It sounds like Lucas is gaining weight fine, so he is getting some nutrition from the EBM but the solids might stay down better. Let me know what you decide and how it goes.
