Doesnt surprise me in the least. Kaine only won cause warner was so popular and now that kaine has done nothing, a dem isnt going to win on his coattails. Besides, deeds has talked about what he wants to do and he has some really good ideas. BUT, he has not mentioned how it will get paid for. Mcdonald has talked about how to pay for things. And his ideas arent awful.

For education, he said he would take money from the school administration and put it back in the schools. Make sense to me. One administrator who never sees or talks to the children probably makes the salary of 2 teachers.

I really think that's the biggest issue we have. It's not that there's not enough money, it's the bogus things the money is being spent on. And that's not just in education. I shop at sams and walmart. Why cant the government? It would save them money instead of buying stuff from Office Max.

I am so with you on the Admins spending waaaaaay too much. Did you hear that they are now charging the students to play sports...$100.oo per child, per season...and parking in the student parking lots went from $25 per year...to $200.00...and I think I heard that the band has to pay for their own transportation to away games...

but the administration is hiring...and increased their salaries...by 15%!

Besides the fees AMF listed, the students now have to pay for AP tests ( at $85 bucks a pop)

the senior lot last year cost $5 to park in and now it is $200

many schools are not sending cheerleaders to away games as they have to pay (as do the band members)

It will cost me $400 to have my children participate in sports...we also volunteer countless times in the snack shack and donate to the athletic program..WHERE is all this $$$ going??
