Please don't impose your interpretations on me. I have not read the Joe v. Jose piece because, as I have said, I don't read these viral emails. I saw the first line, Googled it and found the two articles that I've provided links for. Just exposing the virus and letting people know that there is a group out there (the first link) that has spent time wading through the piece and pointing out its flaws. Something I don't care to spend time doing.

To answer your specific question, yes, illegal immigrant children can get free or reduced lunches just like children who are American citizens -- as long as both families qualify due to low income. In both cases, the parents of those children are getting a "free (or reduced) ride."

Would you rather we stop that program? Not feed those non American citizen children? Or not feed any of those kids because after all, why can't their parents provide for them?

If you haven't read it, how can you possibly comment on it? If you'd read it you couldn't have said "To answer your specific question, yes, illegal immigrant children can get free or reduced lunches just like children who are American citizens -- as long as both families qualify due to low income. In both cases, the parents of those children are getting a "free (or reduced) ride."

Take a min or so and give it a gander. Or are you afraid to challenge or defend your beliefs?

Why the need to read it here if it is clear that it is another conspiracy.com ranting? Better to enter it into Google, find one of the many 'terrifying' variations and read it on a site that explains, rationally, WHY it is just another tool of the tin-foil brigade...

Not afraid to challenge or defend my beliefs. One of my beliefs is that I don't read viral emails.

As for how I can possibly comment on it? I can't comment on what was said in the article because I don't know what was said other than to read the first line so I could Google it. I can, however, comment on Ann's point about reduced or free lunches which exists as a thing in the real world, apart from the article.
