Will Obama Throw Himself Under the Bus?

I see the future where the Obama administration embarrasses itself so bad that it becomes a pariah to itself. At this rate, Obama will have to throw himself under the bus after the coming debacle of the 2010 midterm elections. Incumbents will be doing all they can to distance themselves from the Obama administration and Obama himself will be quoted as saying: "I'm not the Obama that I remember!"

Then watch the debate board become devoid of Obama supporters. Obama is doing to the Democrats what Nixon did to the Republicans. Gee, it's almost like watching a train wreck in slow motion!

lol...I see some people really, really want their dreams to come true. The reality is that right now given, inherited economy crap, already growing and burgeoning unempoyment crap, inherited and previously ignored mortgage crap, inherited banking crap, inherited and previously ignored insurance crap, and inherited wars and deficits crap, Obama is actually doing very well.

Even if one wanted to agree that he inherited everything.....HOW could you possibly think he is doing very well? What exactly has he changed or improved? Heck, I haven't even seen him holding things steady.....they have just continued to tank.......with his help!

Inherited or not. The fact is that he OWNS it now and what is DOES with it now. Which in case you haven't noticed has been NOTHING.

Your constant throw it back in the face of Bush really needs to stop. Your man has been in there for 10 months now. Why don't you offer up your expertise to help him get his butt out of the fire. Then you might have something to gloat about.

See, the problem with your theory ITK is that no matter how bad it's gonna get Obama's ego will never ever allow him to recognize his failure. It will be interesting to see how "the One" handles it when he's not THE one anymore.

Exactly. He would be a hero, and even I could admit to that, if he took the "lemons" he inherited and made lemonade out of it all. No one has EVER claimed that he walked into a great, problem free situation. We all knew that either he or McCain would be inheriting a mess. The problem is, he has accomplished a big fat NOTHING in almost a year in office. Nothing has improved and quite the contrary, some things have gotten much worse.....and by the things HE has done. THAT is ALL that he has credit for and it's nothing good. He has ZILCH to show for his time so far and no matter what anyone thinks of Bush......this is just pathetic. Not so much "change," eh?

You know what I'd LOVE to see......for any Obama lover here to actually list out why he is so wonderful and what great and amazing accomplishments that he has made that make him such, without trying to deflect to someone else. Back up your opinion with facts. I'm sorry, but Bush sucking (if that is your opinion) does NOT make Obama great. Great people aren't considered great people for their mere existence. They aren't considered great for what they say.......but for putting action behind their words and actually doing something. Example, Mother Teresa didn't become great by preaching to help the poor and impoverished.....she became great for all that she DID for them and devoting her entire life to serving them. So, please back up your praise with a little substance because the, "Well, Bush....." statements are incredibly lame and old. We are talking about Obama and his accomplishments or lack thereof now.

On what planet is he doing well? The economy is going to hell in a handbasket - he has done NOTHING that has reversed or even stemmed econimic losses. His grand stim package the has already seen it big bang was a total bust.. he's spending money faster than he can order the fed to print it. And, on an international front has done more to damage the relationships with this countries longest standing allies than anyone in recent history..

He's kept not 1 of his promises and has been exstremely successful in deviding this country - its almost as if he's trying to screw us..
