Well, I was a little surprised.....
I got to watch the Jags/Eagles game last night. Vick came out to play right off the bat (second play I think) and he got a cheers, claps and a standing ovation. I was a bit surprised by that.
I've said before...my feelings are he's paid his dues and should be allowed to make a living in his profession since his profession doesn't relate to his crime. But had I been at that game I might have clapped, but I darn sure wouldn't have given him cheers and a standing ovation.

He could not have picked a better team than the Eagles - those fans are rabid (no pun intended) and all about winning. They also turn on a dime. He just better watch out if their season starts to go down the drain.

I agree that he paid his dues. I might not have clapped though.
 I was so confused when I quickly read your first post here. I thought "Jags" was "Jays" and "came out to play right off the bat" was "came out at bat". So I'm wondering why I ever thought Vick was a football player because it seemed to me like you saw him at a baseball game!

We USED to get ALL the Dolphins games, but in the early 90's we got the Jags so we don't get them anymore and have to watch the Jags. Which is REALLY funny now since the Jags stink and the games are almost always blacked out.

No need to apologize - I need to read slower.
I'm going to show my ignorance of American football here - who are the Jags? I know the Eagles, the Dolphins, the Bears, the Cowboys, the Bills, etc. - all the better known teams. The Jags - no idea! (Sorry in advance)

Jacksonville Jaguars.....it's no wonder you've never heard of them. They stink terribly! They were franchised into the NFL in the early 90's along with the Carolina Panthers out of Charlotte NC.
Jacksonville is the largest city in the country (land wise). It's in NE Florida.
