On a lighter note: Are you a

Since we're right in the middle of eating season, surrounded by cookies, rum cake, hams, homemade candies, etc. I thought it would be fun to ask a question I've been wanting to for a long time.

Are you a live to eat or eat to live type?

I've always felt you can tell alot about people by what they eat. Dh and I are squarely in the live to eat camp. I also believe that life's too short to drink cheap wine. We love to cook and entertain. Love to eat out and try new foods.

So what about all of you?

Live to eat!

I would have a hard time giving up chocolate and cheese for a little thing like HEALTH.

I do not try new foods very often. I know what I love and stick to it. For example, I have the same thing for lunch almost every day.

And yes, you can tell a lot about me due to how I eat. I am a very routinized (is that a word?) person. I get up at the same time, do the same things in the same order, and like security over excitement.

Great question!!! Live to eat definately!!!

I also thinkyou can tell alot about a person by what they eat....also by peeking in their fridge (a much better barometer than the medicine cabinet for fellow nosey types)

My fridge has veggies, fruits, water bottles, organic milk, eggs, cheese, yogurt, etc...all healthy stuff that is on my weekly grocery list BUT if you look closely you're likely to find take out pizza in foil, maybe a thing of slice and bake cookie dough and amongst the lean cuisines in the freezer...ice cream.

Who am I? I person who wakes up every morning determined to eat better and lose weight but who has a sweet tooth and loves pizza!

I'm a live to eat person by nature and desire. I'm a eat to live person by necessity.

First, if I go too long in between meals I'm a complete crab. You don't want to get in between me and food when I'm really hungry. So, purely for health reasons, I need regular meals and I prefer the food to be good meals. After all, if I'm going to intake calories, I prefer it to be yummy/healthy stuff.
But, due to my busy lifestyle and the constant interruptions from my little ones at mealtime, I'm a eat to live kind of person most days lately. I don't eat nearly as healthy as I'd like these days.
I've always said that if I won the lottery, I would immediately hire a chef to plan and prepare yummy meals for me. I love to eat at nice restaurants (althought our opportunities to do that is quite limited for the past few years). Now, we simply look for a place that isn't too stuffy for kids and can provide quick enough service so we are out there before the kids blow a gasket.

I am surely a live to eat kind of person, and I am trying to chage that. NOT HAPPENING THIS SEASON!

My weight has skyrocketed since fertlity treatments and my last pregnancy. I have found that I must change my eating habits in order to maximize my life. I was one of "those" who could eat anything and stay trim...and then after some age, I am one of those "look at it and gain" kinda people.

And yes, you can tell a lot about people by what they eat. I used to think that all vegetarians were healthy and thin...but I have met MANY recently who were way heavier than I am.

Take a look in our fridge...I wonder what you would think. It is a mixture of everything! We have lunchmeat, cajun hotsuace, some veggies, milk, egg beaters, left over steak from a restraunt, and left overs from dinner in the crockpot the other day. now the freezer...weight wathcer meals, lean cusines, ice cream, chicken breasts in bags, and LOTS of deer meat.

Eat to live. Eating is boring - I hate having to stop and think about it.

I'm both. I don't eat a lot but I love to cook and I only like to eat very good, fresh food.

I usually eat homemade soup for dinner - tonight it will be cream of crab with sherry.
