Hello everyone, I am new to this site. I am glad to have found a place where I can talk to women going through the same experiences. I feel like there is no one to talk to around me and no one who understands.
I just had a failed IVF a couple of weeks ago. I had 10 eggs, 1 fertilized, no transfer. At the recommendation of my RE, my DH and I decided to try again. However, because of the holidays and to give my body a rest we decided not to start a new cycle until January/February 2011. I wish I could have started right away ... the wait is awful. :P Anyone else out there on the same cycle?

JHowabout1 thanks for the message and I'm sorry that you had the same experience! I think I'm pretty much on the same cycle as you. I will start the pill in late December for 28 days. No Lupron this time around until I start the stims, my RE believes it suppressed my system too much. And then I start the stims (high doses of Follistim and Menopur) mid-January for an early Feb retrieval. I'm feeling confident about this next cycle, this will be our turn to make it work!

Hello everyone!
We're scheduled for a trial transfer in January and then for a February cycle of IVF with ICSI. In some ways I wish we could just get started NOW and in other ways I'm glad for the time to prepare, this is our first cycle... I am so glad I found FT! I don't know who I would talk to about this without it!

BABYAFRICA- Good luck this morning! So trial transfer and then a break for the holidays and moving forward in January? That's how we're looking at it, a month to try not to think about this stuff. Are you excited to get going again?

good morning ladies, can i join you? DH and I are scheduled for a January cycle too! our first IVF attempt was a chemical and were ready to try again. truely beleive that this will be it, an I couldnt be more excited. start BCPs at the end of this month/maybe first few days of Dec depending on when AF shows her face.
J, were going to be in the same facility! so maybe we can do lunch or something. Since im going to be traveling far away from home, its be nice to have a local buddy! besides DH of course!! lol the cheapest place i could find for that length of stay was an extended stay, which works because of the kitchen an everything, but no pets
so i have to leave my fur babies with a sitter...
oh well hope toget to know all of you a little better in the coming weeks!me: 26

Wan2beamommy- Nice to meet you! I can't imagine having to travel to do IVF, talk about added stress! But, I lived in extended stay hotels for a year (I was a travel nurse and my agency put me up in an extended stay in whatever city I was in) and loved it. It's nice to have the kitchenette. The ones I stayed in allowed pets though, I traveled with 2 cats. Welcome, I look forward to sharing your journey!
