Did my first shot tonight. Not as bad as I thought at all, barely felt it, got worked up for nothing. What a relief!
Wan2be- Yaaa! Hopefully no more needles for you! You are getting so close now!
EDandIP- We might be doing ER around the same time. I'm excited about our roadtrip too, nice to have a little getaway. Hope you're keeping warm and having fun visiting!

Pcosfet- you rock for keeping up with the list, it is SO helpful!
BearBaby1- congrats on joining the stimming group!
Berrykixx- awesome news, so relieved to hear this. Positive thoughts and visualization- that's what I would do!
wan2beamommy- wow, tons of perfect follies, you must be so excited. Love that DH counted for you. What a sweet pea. Keep us posted!
Tosha- wow, drama girl! All the good news and all the stress at the same time. Seems like good preparation for motherhood! Glad you're back on the mend, and keep the BETA updates rolling in!
Daisyflower- Hmmm, didn't know you can combine meds in one syringe. Will ask about that. About your question- when I watched all those videos, they said if you bleed a bit just wipe with a swab and move on. Seemed like it was super normal. I never bleed more than a tiny drop and occasionally I'll see a tiny bubble of clear liquid which I assume is the meds, but I really don't know. Excellent question for your nurse!
EDandIP- sorry you have to wait, how frustrating! But it's great your E2 is dropping, and if it means you have a better chance for a successful cycle, what's two days? Drive nice and slow in that snow. You'll be fine!
Delgirl- 16?! You rock, can't wait for the update!
AFM- just finished 4th day of stims. Still two more days until I get my u/s. I wish I was feeling more in my ovaries. Last year I always felt when follies were growing, I just don't remember when that ache starts. Maybe it wasn't until later. When did you all start to feel the follies?
Keeping you all in my thoughts tonight. I love this group!Me- 36 / DH- 37

wan2beamommy, Thanks for the luck hun! You are right about just needing that one! I'm not sure how many they are transferring. I should know more today. I'm not even sure if they are doing a 3 or 5 day transfer. I'm so excited though!
Good Luck with your ER! I triggered at 10:30 too! I thought the trigger shot would hurt and didn't trust DH to do it for me because of the size of the needle and ended letting my mom do it (she's a nurse) and it didn't hurt one bit. I'm such a wimp! lol
Daisyflower, I'm not sure what day they want me to transfer. This is my first IVF so I'll let them decide for me. I should know more today. I'm just praying my embies are fine in there.
Tosha, I'm so glad you are feeling better. OHSS is no joke. I can't wait for your ultrasound! I wonder if there is one or two?
Del, I thought I would sleep all day after my ER but after a quick nap I was back to normal. I went out to dinner that evening. I really thought that I would be out of it all day!
ED, I hated waiting too! But 2/6 is right around the corner!! Please drive safely in that terrible weather. Take your time and you should be fine.
Lilrebal, I wish you the best hun! Hopefully you won't even need them.
Good Luck Ladies!! I can't wait to see all the BFPs!!!

Daisy- It probably has something to do with the aspirin, it's a blood thinner so you may bleed just a tiny bit more, but it's normal, no worries!
Page- You CAN mix the meds girl!! I did it on both of my previous cycles, it also says right on the instructions you could mix up to FIVE vials of repronex with 1 vial of water and you can mix the gonalf or follistim in with the repronex/menopur but only a certain # of each.. The meds are more "space age" 8 yrs later so I don't have any to mix, my gonal f is in a pen and menopur isn't so 3 shots a day for me whenever I get to that point
Lucky ducks that get to mix!
Oh and your right on schedule, ache starts around day 5-6!!!
GIG77- Good luck your almost there!!!
Bear- YAY! So I still have someone close to me in cycling!!
Del- good luck today let us know how your eggs do!
OK ladies off to take some headache meds! Hope all of you guys day is awesome!! xoxoxoxo!!Me-38 DH-33

Hi Ladies...It has been awhile since i posted. I was hoping to start stimming so I could really join in the conversation...and I was supposed to start this past Sunday b/c AF finally came...but it looks like I am postponed for a month. It is for a good reason...(DH's new job will give us insurance but he doesn't start for another week..grrr), but after reading everyone's posts daily I was really looking forward to being part of the real group. Bummer...And I have been searching for another forum for Feb/March Cyclers...but there is nothing out there with the participation of this forum. Hopefully, by the time I start stimming, all of you will have a BFP and can give me advice
I will continue to track your progress and best of luck to all!!!
Me and DH: 32
DH: Perfect
Me: bilateral hydrosalpinges 11/10
Tubes removed 12/10
2 Failed Fresh IVFs (perfect 5 day blasts)
1 Failed FET: (perfect 5 day blasts but thin linings)
2 Cancelled FETs (fluid in uterus on 1, thin lining on the other)
Not sure why these embies aren't sticking????

Berry, are you hanging in there girlie?
Last night I was dreaming a lot and all i was dreaming was about the girls that are triggerring, the names kept coming to me in the dream wan2bmommy, jhowabout and delgirl. We were all talking about the trigger shot and it was all hazy after that. I am thinking about all of you round the clock it looks like.
delgirl congrats on 16 eggs. That is very promising.
EDandIP - you are our thread's firecracker and true motivator, dont let the delay get you down, it is for the best. In my first IVF class, the nurse told me, "The most important thing you need to learn other than administering these shots and dealing with all this,is Patience'. I realized what she meant as i went through the cycle. It is so hard to be patient. lol.
Anxiety became my body part since then.
hydro - you are still part of this family so, do stay with us. If you have insurance to cover any of this, that is a huge plus so although you may have to wait, it is for the good, it takes some stress out of you.

Hey.. I've been reading and trying to keep up with everyone. * lurking*
I feel like a turtle.. slow and steady, slow and steady. I keep telling myself slow and steady wins the race. This is day 11 of stims. Yesterday my biggest follicle was 13.. most in the 10 range, and one 8. SLLLLLLLLLLLLOW and Steady lol
I just wish everytime I went in they didn't talk to me about cancelling. That is the biggest pain, I don't know what is going to happen next.
I had my husband mix all my meds last night ( to get him involved) and I was freaking out this AM when I couldn't find the Lurpon in the fridge! HE LEFT IT ON THE COUNTER!!! I read the drug chemistry and it says it just has to stay below 77 ( and my house is not a sauna) so I am crossing fingers everything is still on track.
I go back tomorrow at 6:15AM again ( I tell ya, this is exhausting me). I'll post when I know more. To cancel or to not cancel, that is the question. ( In my head.. I am a turtle, I am a turtle, I am a turtle... I will finish and WIN this race).

EDand IP, I am so sorry, rally looooong Lupron for you!
I was on Lupron for 19 days before stims during my previous IvF. I guess, we can survive everything! E2 of 46 is good, congratulations!
Hopefully, it'll drop a little more to make your RE happy
Good luck starting stims tomorrow
Sorry your DH left! Oh well, those stims will keep you busy
Page, Thanks! I am still doing stim shots twice a day because of a high dose. The more meds in the syringe, the more it stings
I started feeling ovaries on the 3rd day this time, which is too early for me. I was hoping it meant more follies. Well, yesterday U/S showd I was wrong. There are a couple less than last time. Who knows?
GodIsGood, Good luck today!Last edited by daisyflower; 01-25-2011 at 07:55 PM.
