BABYAFRICA- I hope your transfer was a success. Stay rested & hydrated. Hope those embie(s) are snuggling in! Now your PUPO!!!

Lilrebal- Good luck on your transfer. This afternoon you’ll be PUPO! Can’t wait to hear how your transfer went!

3girls- I hope your keeping busy during your 2ww. I know I go crazy during that time. Praying your still sane!

jailbird – So sorry to hear about the OHSS. It is great that you get to have a nice calm place for your embryo free stim meds when you do transfer. I think you’ll have a successful transfer when your ready.

Tonya22- So happy to hear your second beta doubled from the first. Rest easy now that it’s an official BFP!

Tosha- I hope your feeling better. After my endo lap I had bad gas pains. It hurt way up in my shoulders too. I hope it’s all gone by now and you can enjoy your BFP! Congrats on second beta!

PageInChiTown- Happy Birthday! Enjoy your weekend! The stims will help your lining plump up. My RE likes my lining at transfer above an 8 so you have time.

EDandIP- Have a safe trip! I hope your E2 is under 50 so you get the green light to start stims!

Berrykixx- I hope your higher dose is working! Let us know how your us appt is today.

Guyserk – Hope your still with us. Waiting to see how your doing!

Babybear1- Every cycle is different on stims for me. This cycle no mood swings. I hope you have none too!

Pcosfet- I hope your feeling better while on your patches. I hope your lining is getting nice and plump for your embie(s)

Everyone else- I hope your doing good as you are all in my prayers as we go through this together.

AFM- Had my 2nd montoring appt yesterday. Dr counted 9 but they are grouped close together so that is good. My sizes went up since Wed and my e2 levels doubled since wed. So far so good. I go back Saturday morning for another check.

So.. had my 2nd monitoring apt this am.

Bad news- Wednesday I had 6, today I had 5 follies. They had doubled my medicine, but so far nothing. The nurse is going to wait on my E2 results to see if they are at least going up. I get the weekend to see if things progress, but there is already talk of cancelling my cycle. She wanted to just put me in the March cycle, but DH will be deployed. ( lucky just to have him home part of this month for this cycle.. he gets home this weekend).

The plan: Continue with meds till Monday. 3rd scan Monday AM will decide if I am cancelled. They talked about possibly doing an IUI. Will know more info Monday I guess. My hubby's sperm morphology is really bad and only 2% are good, so I don't know how successful an IUI would be, but might as well try that if that is all we can salvage from this cycle.

That's all for now. Glad everyone else is having success. Hoping the meds kick in this weekend.

Berry, hang in there, I can only imagine how disappointed you must feel after all the effort and expectation, but there's still hope, otherwise your doctor would have just cancelled you. Everyone's journey is unique, maybe your body just needs a bit more time for stimming. Did they change the dosages or anything after this morning? Try to stay positive and visualise those follies growing. I'll have my fingers crossed for you Monday;-)

Jhowabout - congrats on the good results yest! Let us know how your appointment goes tomorrow.

ED - yay for roadtrip! Really feels like you are on an odyssey or quest to become pregnant, travelling all over the country, LOL! Hope your E2 levels go down so you can go ahead with the cycle. Cabbage and broccoli help, I heard...

Hope everyone else is doing well. Had my 3rd monitoring appt. this morning and looks like ER is going to be Monday instead of next wednesday....sooo triggering tomorrow which is going to be fun cos my dh is ultra nervous about needles and we are going to ask the nurses to draw a big bull's eye on my butt tomorrow, just so he doesn't miss the spot, LOL! I'm supposed to be going out with friends tomorrow night too, offered to be the designated driver so can't really back out. I'm sure most ppl's preparations for going out don't include 2 subq and 1 IM injection!!

Quick question for all of you who have gone through ER before. I'm getting the IV sedation in the morning and was wondering if I would be ok to drive that evening? I have an audition for an orchestra (I play viola) that evening and I was wondering if I would be better trying to postpone it. As long as I can stand up I should be ok to play but I think I remember someone saying that they slept for almost 2 days after ER so I'm worried I might be wiped after. Any opinions, ladies?

ED -- Have a safe trip! You're headed my way, I live in NYC. It is really cold these days. We had more snow last night. SIGH! I hope your E2 levels are getting where they need to be. Thanks for all the wonderful advice to everyone. You are definitely knowledgeable. A lot of the questions I can't answer. Some of these are really tough questions. It's such a crazy process and so much information is thrown at you by the RE and nurses. It's really awesome to have a group of ladies like you guys!

Page and Wan2beamommy -- Happy Birthday!!!! Have a wonderful day!

Delgirl and Cozina -- WELCOME and Good Luck!!!!

BabyAfrica -- Good Luck on your ET!

Berrykixx -- Hang in there! But you can't give up! You never know what can happen. Maybe some of the follies are hidding. They haven't pulled the plug yet on this cycle, so you can't give up.

Delgirl -- You're almost there! YAY! Your DH will do fine with the needle, you'll see. With regard to the day of your ER, I don't know if you will be up to play Viola that evening (which by the way I think is AWESOME, playing Viola that is!). I know that after my ER I was not up for anything. I slept all day. I was exhausted and started feeling some cramps the evening of my ER. It was very uncomfortable. I almost cancelled work the next day, but I went anyway, even though I didn't really feel that great and I was still cramping. Going out that evening would have been out of the question for me...

    Hey everyone.

Glad to see so many of you are moving along.

I just had my ultrasound and blood work. 18 follicles on the left and 15 on the right. I start stimming tomorrow morning. Waiting for them to call later today and give me the final go and tell me to decrease lupron. I am soooo nervous about the stim medications and what they will do to me. BCP and Lupron have been a breeze as compared to what I heard from others, hope my body will do well with the rest of these meds.
Any good tips or heads up as to what I can expect on foillistim and Menopur???

hopefuljourney - congrats on having so many follies! yay for stimming - it feels great to be finally on the home stretch! I wasn't on Lupron but like you, I was lucky with side effects when on the BCP so you may be similar to me. I am on Menopur and follistim and haven't noticed any side effects, altho my dosages are quite low. Follistim started 150, then 75, then 50 and now 35.5. Menopur was 1 per day, now 1/2 vial. I was told to inject the follistim into my thigh, which is painless but I really hate giving myself menopur in my abdomen. The needle isn't so bad but it hurts pushing in the meds. Sometimes I just sit there with the needle sticking out of my belly until I can psyche myself up to push in the meds - I'm such a baby, LOL! It seems to be less painful if I mix the meds and let it sit for a few minutes. Oh, and I always ice my belly too and then use hot pad after - I think I deserve the pampering! Good luck tomorrow stimming, let us know how it goes.

Mathilde - thanks for sharing your experience. That's what I am afraid may happen. I think that if I'm really too tired on the day, I'll cancel and say I'm ill. At least if I don't get in, I can blame it on the drugs, not my poor playing;-)

Berrykixx – hang in there! Keeping you in my thoughts this weekend.

ED – have a safe trip!

? for y’all. I will be starting this Mind Body program to help with the stress of infertility. Super excited! We will be meeting on the evening of my ET. Do you think I will be able to make it? It is 3 hours long and DH can drive me. I’m hoping I don’t have to miss a class.

jhow-hope things continue to progress well for you! good luck saturday!

hopeful-i hope the meds continue to be nice to you!

suzinaz-i think you should be fine. since it is a mind/body class and not strenuous and don't have to drive, it should be ok. my re just said no lifting or exercising, but i could go to a movie or out to eat, and to take it easy. enjoy!
